The Warm up and Cool down are fundamental elements required for the effective preparation of a team/individual before activity (training or playing) and for the recovery process post exercise.

The warm-up and cool-down are both performed in the interest of injury prevention and to enhance performance. A poor warm-up will result in poor perpormance and an increased risk of injury, while a poor cool-down will result in a slower recovery and also increased rick of injury.
